First off Happy Thanksgiving.
If you have been paying attention to the TS Data Filter you will know that the site has been updated.
A convoy of food and fuel supplies headed for Antarctic evacuation compounds was completely lost when a massive disturbance not caused by the convoy resulted in the massive break-up of a frozen lake. 

There were over 75 enlisted men and about $6 million worth of equipment headed for thenorthern evacuation compounds. All was lost. The food and fuel staples would have supplied about 25,000 people for 4-6 months. 

The GDI core of engineers is being held accountable. However, they maintain the ice field crossing is one of many standard supply routes used and is regularly analyzed for safety levels. GDI evacuation support teams must maintain at least a dozen different supply routes to the Arctic region to hedge against NOD terrorist strikes - which have been occurring with increased frequency. 

Although no official statement has been made, there is an investigation under way to determine if the disturbance that caused the latest mishap was in fact a NOD terrorist strike rather than a miscalculation of GDI engineers.

It seems Westwood has a little problem with the name of a unit. The Mechs.  There are 3 mechs in TS that names will have to be changed. The reason they have to be changed is that word "mech" is copywrited by FASA which is the maker of Mech Warrior/Commander games. So if you have and ideas for the names for the Mech then email me and ill submit it to Westwood.
On a sidenote there is a chance that Microsoft could buy FASA.

Mysterious Unit - 11:42pm
BGTS has found another mysterious unit screenshot.
BGTS happens to think that it is a mobile artillery. I however think that it is a V2RL(V2 Rocket Launcher) like in RA. Send me your hypothesis on what this unit is.

There have been alot of questions asked about this screenshot.
1. Upper Left=looks like a piece of the Firestorm -- 2. Bottom Left=some sort of land octopus. But, since there isn't any such thing in the game I'd have to guess that it is a grouping of craters. -- 3. Bottom Right= The last one has to be tiberium.

WW-Games Down? - 11:13pm
I got an email from tyrant123 he is the webmaster of the Dune 2000 page at ww-gamez. He said that ww-gamez is switching servers(hopefully it will be faster) and possibly buying a new domain name.

BGTS Questions - 1:34pm
BGTS asked Rade some questions last night.
Gunfire: Is there any limit to the range of the underground units? Can they burrow across the whole map?
Rade: No range limit.
Gunfire: So, essentially, nothing can stop the burrowers
from burrowing where ever they like, but we can detect them, right?
Rade: Well, there are certain areas they can't pop up in
(water, concrete, etc.) and you can detect them with a MSA

RSN Questions - 1:38pm
RSN also had a chance to ask Rade some questions last night.
SoulKrusher: Will the stealth generator only cloak the owner's buildings? Say if my enemy built a stealth generator in my base, would my buildings be stealthed?
Rade: First off, I doubt that would never happen. I can't imagine a case in a real game, that wasn't purposely staged, where you would be building your base on top of you enemy base. However if that somehow happened, the stealth generator would not cloak your own buildings, just the the ones from the guy who built it.
SoulKrusher: What if it was your allie? I would imagine it to be quite useful for a Nod allie to cloak a GDI allie's base.
Rade: That is still an unlikely occurence since you can't just plop a building anywhere you want.

Absolute Tiberian Sun Interview - 5:45pm
Here are the questions they asked Rade.
Goldfish: CAN you give ME some information about Kane? How did he survive?
Rade: I'm sorry I can't tell you, I don't want to ruin anything. 

Goldfish: Does Tiberian Sun support K6-3D Now?
Rade: The game wants work on AMD chip but won't benefit from 3D-Now technology. It just doesn't work for voxels the way it does for polygons. There May some advantages to some OF the math INSTRUCTIONS but I'd have to ask a of programmer to sure. 

Goldfish: Does Tiberian Sun run RK 1024x768 want with a PII with 4 MB OF graphics MEMORY?
Rade: Yes it wants work with that hardware, but it won't work RK 1024x768 if you have 2 MB OF graphics MEMORY. 

Goldfish: Does Tiberian Sun run RK want all with a Pentium 133 with 32 MB OF RAM?
Rade: Yes, but it May run slow if you crank UP the graphic detail. 

Goldfish: Does there " air to air want combat "?
Rade: Nope. 

Goldfish: Does NOD have want any choppers?
Rade: Yes, they have one... at Apache. 

Goldfish: AR there any cool multiplayer features? Like ctf?
Rade: Yep, you CAN create a Battle clan with a bunch OF your friends and it wants ranked for all OF you. Multiple multiplay options. And ctf... I really don't know, I have to ask Erik on that one. 

Goldfish: Is it true that you don't have a name for the " mechs "? I've heard that " mechanical " is patented.
Rade: NO we don't have any good ones, please transmits suggestions. FASA owns the copyright to of " mechanical ". 

Goldfish: The releases then? (I suppose you knew that one would come) =)
Rade: Yeah, we're a couple OF months away. As for a specific DATE, as in exact day, I really don't know yet and I'm the one who keeps a plumb bob OF the schedule stuff. It depends on mast ring time, shipping, etc. that's out OF our hands. 

Goldfish: What DO you think about the wordprocessor? Does there want any?
Rade: The wordprocessor is very complex and time consuming to use but CAN yield great results if you know what you're doing and of AR patient. It's a plumb bob more complex, 3d terrain ADD a whole new item. (Ska one ta det som ett " "?) 

Goldfish: What child OF natural DISA disasters of AR there? Any volcano?
Rade: There wants ion Storms and of meteor. NO volcano. 

Goldfish: AR there any special units that you have NOT revealed yet?
Rade: OF course there AR, you have to more discover something when you play the game. =) 

Goldfish: When DO you release the NEXT set OF screenshots?
Rade: It's UP to the PR guys, but we DO have some more on the way. 

Goldfish: It different for does Europe and the USA want the releases?
Rade: We always aim for a simultaneous release and that's what we're doing here.

Erik: Ok. Here's the low down on the mystery unit. It's the Cyborg Commando.
Nova: Thrawn wants to know: You said the dropship was the fastest in the game, but will it unload quickly? Is it feasible to run to the back of someone's base and drop?
Erik: The unload for all unit carriers is fast.
Nova: Failure wants to know: I've heard you mention that to prevent the 'tank rush' tactic there will be no 'super unit'. I dunno..but i'd consider the Mamoth Tank a super unit. what are you changing in TS to make the MTmark II not so powerful but still effective?
Erik: The Mark II is MUCH more powerful than before, but
it is balanced in. Trust me.

Mysterious Unit - 6:57
Here is a pic of the mysterious unit. If I get a chance this weekend I will try and have an interview with Rade and ask him about this mysterious unit. Here is a picture of this unit. Got the pic from BG:TS

Chat Log - 6:49
Here is some new info that was in the chat log.

The Mammoth is in. All we know is that the name is Mammoth Mark 2.

The name of the Random Map Generator is Battlemap(tm).

The Firestorm Defense is basically a force field that GDI can generate around their base.

All the on-line features are integrated into the game.

New on-line features include full tracking for individual and clan ladders and player profiling.

As of now the max number of players online is 4 and over LAN it's 8. The online number might increase.

The map editor might be released.

Release date - probably early next year.

Each mission and unit/structure is assigned a tech level. When you get to a mission you get the appropriate units/structures.

Terran types are temperate/forestand,temperate/desert and city-scapes. All of these have a winter variation with snow and ice.

Certain weapon types will cause blue tiberium to explode. When shot at, green tiberium will just dissapear like in TD.

Air units not in use will land. like in RA.

Ion storms only disable those units that are hit by lightning.
